Ryan Donovan (Nothington) announced as new guitarist for Red City Radio

Late last week, Red City Radio announced the departure of longtime guitarist/co-vocalist Paul Pendley. Today, however, the Oklahoma City punks have revealed Nothington bassist Ryan Donovan will be taking Pendley’s place on the 6-string, posting the following message on Facebook:

Hey everyone! We’re super excited to announce that Ryan Donovan of Nothington bass guitar fame will be stepping up into the unenviable roll of playing guitar for Red City Radio following Paul’s departure. WELCOME RYAN! As most of you know, Paul’s last show will be April 12th in OKC. We’re also excited that Garrett, who sang lead on most of Titles, will be transitioning to full time lead vocalist. All of our European tour dates are still happening. You’ll be hearing more from us soon! Be awesome to each other!

Tickets to the final show RCR will be playing with Paul Pendley on guitar (the one mentioned int the above statement) can be purchased right here. Details on the band’s upcoming European tour (also mentioned above) can be found over here.

Red City Radio released their sophomore album Titles on October 15th, 2013 through Paper + Plastick Records (vinyl) and Black Numbers (CD).
