Former Ten Foot Pole and current Pulley vocalist Scott Radinsky has apparently been fired from his day job as the pitching coach for the Cleveland Indians. Radinsky was also a former relief pitcher for Major League Baseball from 1990-1993 and 1995 to 2001. The Cleveland Indians had suffered an 11 game losing streak but recently ended it with a victory this week. Radinsky commented saying that he hadn’t seen the firing coming and he had heard “rumors that someone [was] going to take the fall,” that he’s “disappointed if [he's] part of the reason they didn’t succeed,” and his “only concern was working with those pitchers, to help them get better, and protect them.” Indeed, this is an unfortunate turn of events.
Pulley last released “The Long And The Short Of It” on vinyl in 2011 on When’s Lunch Records and digitally through the band’s own label, X-Members Records, and mentioned in an interview earlier this year that a new full-length is on the way.
