Ohio progressive rockers Signals Midwest are streaming a new song called “308,” taken from their upcoming album “Light On The Lake.” Here’s what frontman Max Stern had to say about the track:
“The title [of the song] comes from the address of the house that Loren [bass] and Jeff [guitar] lived in while we were writing the record, which was located only a few houses away from Lake Erie. The song itself is meant to introduce the listener to a few concepts that occur throughout the record—particularly the images of light and water.”
“Musically, ‘308’ is the most straight-forward and short song we’ve written in years… It’s really fun to play because it’s pretty simple compared to most of our songs, and we’ll likely be opening sets with it for a while once the record comes out.”
