Slayer announce first North American tour in two years

Starting in two weeks, thrash metal icons Slayer are going to headline their first North American tour in two years, with Gojira and 4ARM supporting act. The tour will include their first show in Alaska since 1996 as well as their first shows in 25 years at New York’s Theatre at Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Palladium. All the dates can be found here.

Following the death of guitarist Jeff Hanneman last May, Slayer announced in the same month that original drummer Dave Lombardo left the band once again and were rejoined by his replacement Paul Bostaph. Gary Holt of Exodus has been filling in for Hanneman.
