According to a tweet from Smoking Popes drummer Neil Hennessy, it appears that the Popes will be heading into Atlas Studios next week to begin recording new material. He writes:
Just finished up practicing some new Popes tunes!! Can’t wait to record them next week @Atlas_Chicago
Smoking Popes last released “This Is Only A Test” on March 15th, 2011 via Asian Man Records.
