Sorority Noise will donate album proceeds to ACLU

If you’ve been thinking of checking out Hartford, Connecticut punks Sorority Noise, now may be the time to do it.  The band is offering up their entire back catalogue from now through Sunday as a pay-what-you-want download, with all proceeds going to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

In a statement, the band said:

We as a band can not remain silent in these times of bigotry and racism. We stand in solidarity with our Muslim friends, and against the authoritarian tactics meant to divide us. In noting the outreach platform that we’re fortunate to have, we are making all of our music “pay what you like,” and will be directing all donations to ACLU.

You can find Sorority Noise on Bandcamp here.  Their upcoming album, You’re Not as ____ as You Think You Are, is due out on March 17th.
