Spring Heeled Jack announce “Sound Salvation,” their first album in nineteen years

Spring Heeled Jack are back! The Connecticut-based third-wave ska band have played only a select few shows in recent years, but a handful of social media posts over the last year indicated that there was soon to be some new music. At long, long last, that music is finally upon us.

With little lead-up fanfare, the band self-released a brand new full-length. It’s called Sound Salvation, and it mark’s Spring Heeled Jack’s first studio album since 1999’s Songs From Suburbia (editor’s note: their 1996 debut, Static World View, remains one of the best albums by anybody and I’ll fight you if you say otherwise). For now, Sound Salvation is available in digital copy only by clicking here. Stay tuned; we’ll try to bring you more on this one soon!
