If you’re going to attend Sugarcult‘s special show on December 10th at the Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California, the band needs your help. They just announced on their Facebook page that they are working on documenting the show and they want you bring your video camera gear to shoot it. Here’s what the band says:
“Attention film students or anyone with badass video skills & camera gear…
We wanna document our 12.10.11 Start Static Anniversary show. Can you shoot it?
For your efforts: We’ll get you & a guest in for free, give you some merch & let you be the first person to hug sweaty Ben Davis when he finishes playing drums!
Please comment with a link to some film/video work you’ve done before. Thanks!”
The band is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their 2001 debut album Start Static, and original drummer Ben Davis (who played on Start Static) will be part of the show.
Although Sugarcult never officially disbanded, the band has been inactive for a while. Their last studio album, Lights Out, was released in 2006 on V2 Records and the band is currently unsigned. Sugarcult currently have no other shows scheduled.
