Strap in folks, because we’ve got not one, but two big announcements coming out of Southern California today!
According to an article published by OC Weekly, Taste of Chaos will be returning from a 5 year hiatus, not as a full-fledged tour but as a one-day festival. The festival is set to take place on October 3rd at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA, and names on the lineup include Jimmy Eat World, Saves The Day, Thrice, and Blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus, among others.
The same article also mentions It’s Not Dead festival, which seemed like somewhat of a hoax when it was ‘announced’ earlier this year, mainly because the lineup was so unbelievably awesome and details surrounding it were pretty hazy. According to OC Weekly, the festival featuring Bad Religion, Descendents, NOFX, Pennywise, Less Than Jake, and many others is, in fact, real and it will be taking place on October 10th at the same venue that will play host to Taste of Chaos.
Tickets for both festivals will go on sale next Monday, June 22nd. Early bird tickets will start at $25.00 and the regular sale price will be $42.50.
