Red Scare Industries is celebrating 10 years of labelhood on October 25th with a killer show at Chicago’s Metro. The Falcon, The Lillingtons, The Methadones, Elway, The Brokedowns and Direct Hit! have all been previously announced as a part of the line up, and now you can also count on seeing both Teenage Bottlerocket and Masked Intruder there.
Teenage Bottlerocket bassist Miguel Chen shared some words about playing this show:
“Holy shit Red Scare is ten years old! That means it’s been ten years since we met Toby Jeg, our dear friend who’s been with us ever since! We have a lot of great memories together and it’s certainly safe to say Red Scare was a critical label in TBR’s journey. Celebrating a rad label, run by a rad dude with a rad show sounds like the best time ever! AND if that wasn’t enough it’s taking place in one of our favorite cities in the world: Chicago!!! Sign us up!”
Similarly, Masked Intruder front-man (criminal mastermind?) Blue also had some words regarding his band’s appearance:
“We are stoked to be playing the Red Scare 10th anniversary show! Red Scare has been putting out some of the coolest bands and records of all time for the last 10 years, and it’s insane how many of them are involved in this showcase. We are honored to be involved. Plus, we are honored to have the opportunity to steal so much nice band equipment.”
Red Scare will be announcing 1 band per day via different sites so keep your eyes peeled for more additions. In the meantime snag your tickets here.
