Virginia punk act The Ambulance Review are about to digitally release a 3 song EP titled “The Beatles Are Fucking Lame” on their own website and eventually through Artistic Integrity Records. For those of you unfamiliar with the band and/or excited for the release we’re streaming “Come On”, a brand spanking new track from the pending release, right here.

Regarding the release’s title Tom, the lead singer/guitar player offers the following explanation:

“The title of the EP has two meanings. the first is really a jab at an ex-girlfriend who constantly jerked off to the beatles. the second is because i think the beatles are just completely overrated. i can appreciate the impact they had on rock and roll, and the influence they had on bands that have influenced me, but i never listened to the beatles and thought “yeah man, these songs changed my life!” every song sounds the same to me. and it’s not even that good of a song. i don’t think they suck, i just think they’re lame. it’s cheesy.”
