The Bruce Lee Band announce first show in a decade

Asian Man Records owner Mike Park has just announced The Bruce Lee Band will be hitting the stage for its first show in a decade on September 6th at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, California. More info/ticket links can be found here.

Park will be singing and playing saxophone, Jeff Rosenstock of Bomb The Music Industry! will be playing keyboard and sax, Dan Potthast of Mu330 will be on guitar, John DeDomenici (also of BTMI!) will be on bass, Kevin Higuchi of The Chinkees will be slapping the skins, and Gerry Lundquist of Skankin’ Pickle will be on trombone.

The Bruce Lee Band’s new 7-inch Community Support Group was released on January 28th through Rosenstock’s label Really Records. It was the band’s first release since 2005’s Beautiful World EP, on which Park was backed by the RX Bandits. The band is reportedly working on a new full-length album.
