Last weekend, we informed you that Brian Fallon’s The Horrible Crowes project would be releasing a limited edition 7-inch single for “Ladykiller,” and that the B-side for said release would be their cover of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream.”
According to the band’s label, SideOneDummy, that is apparently not the case. Instead, the B-side will be the band’s cover of the timeless INXS classic “Never Tear Us Apart.” Click here for the label’s official statement.
The “Ladykiller” 7-inch will be available February 21st. The track appears on the band’s release “Elsie,” which dropped last September. Fallon’s other project, The Gaslight Anthem, are busy recording their Mercury Records debut.
Oh, and if you’re still interested, here’s video of The Horrible Crowes cover of “Teenage Dream.”
I guess we really are dummies.
In our initial press release that announced the release and pre-order of The Horrible Crowes “Ladykiller” 7″ we stated that B-Side would be a cover of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream.” That is incorrect; it is in fact a cover of INXS’ “Never Tear Us Apart.”
Updated Tracklist:
Side A: Ladykiller
Side B: Never Tear Us Apart (INXS cover live at Sirius/XM studios in NYC)
We apologize for the confusion. If you’d like a refund on your purchase of the 7″, don’t hesitate to email us at orders@sideonedummy.com and we’ll take care of you (no happy endings).
Don’t worry, “Teenage Dream” will be on a Horrible Crowes release in the near future.
Thanks!
