The Last Slice’s van, trailer, and gear stolen in Miami, FL

Extremely unfortunate news coming out of The Last Slice‘s camp today. According to a recent post on the band’s Facebook page, their van and trailer, which contained all of their musical equipment and some personal belongings, were stolen last night when The Ska Revival Tour stopped in Miami, Florida, leaving them stranded with little money:

“Last night in Miami, FL our van and trailer were stolen. This had all of our musical equipment including a brand new drum set, nord organ, bass cab and amp , guitar amp, two guitars and a bass, saxophone, trombone, keyboard amp, two computers, two camcorders, and all our clothes! We’re not sure what is going to happen right now, but we’re stranded. WE’RE ASKING FOR PAYPAL DONATIONS IF ANYONE CAN HELP US OUT PLEASE SEND MONEY TO (ethan_thelastslice@yahoo.com)”

Please, if you can, help these guys out. And if you’re in or around Miami, keep an ear to the ground. It’s horrible that this seems to be happening more and more often but until things change we need to be there to help bands that fall victim to theft while on the road.
