The Mighty Mighty Bosstones announce new single

Boston ska-punk legends Mighty Mighty Bosstones have released their first song in six years, “What The World Needs Now Is Love”, on 7″ vinyl, with “I Won’t Go Out Like That” as the b-side. Only 1000 copies of the 7″ are available, and you can get it at the band’s webstore for $8.

To promote the new single, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones will make an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC this Thursday (March 16th) at 11:35pm EST/10:35pm CST. There, they will play their new song “What The World Needs Now Is Love” in a mini set live on the outdoor stage. If you’re in Los Angeles (where this will take place) and at least 16 years old and over, you can request free tickets here.

On the day after the Jimmy Kimmel appearance, the band (along with Mariachi El Bronx) will be opening up Flogging Molly at the Forum in Inglewood, and tickets are available right here.

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones’ last full-length studio album, The Magic of Youth, was released in 2011 through Big Rig Records.
