The Offspring already working on new album, Dexter Holland talks about label change

After four months of speculationFlorida Weekly is reporting that The Offspring are now in the early stages of making a new album. No further information is currently available, but frontman Dexter Holland confirms that the band is indeed free-agents and may consider singing to a “big label”. He states:

“We’re free agents now. We have to re-examine if it makes sense to have a big label now. It’s a different time. I feel lucky that we’re still here and that people are interested in us and our music.”

The Offspring released their latest album Days Go By on Columbia Records in June of last year. Recently, over a hundred Offspring fans have been signing a petition that’s asking NOFX founder Fat Mike to sign the band to his label Fat Wreck Chords. Go here to sign it.
