In a twitter update directed to fans in Leeds, UK, Thrice have confirmed that a new album is forthcoming and that it should be out in 2011, although “when” is unknown. The tweet says,

“Thank you, Reading. Despite a bit of weather, you guys topped Leeds. (Sorry, Leeds.) We’ll be back w/ a new record in ’11, UK. Cheers!”

Thrice frontman Dustin Kensrue announced that he is working on new songs that he will try and have released by the end of the year. Thrice’s latest album Beggars was released on Vagrant Records.
