Trophy Eyes stream new track “Penfold State Forest” from upcoming album “Mend, Move On”

Newcastle, Australia punk act Trophy Eyes have premiered a new song from their upcoming album Mend, Move On.  It’s called “Penfold State Forest” and you can stream it here.

On the track, vocalist John Floreani commented:

Sometimes I think of what my life really is, and what it consists of. Every cloud might have a silver lining, but that would mean ignoring the gigantic mass of dull grey that is the cloud. What if the only thing I’m remembered for when I die is a bunch of shitty sad songs? And who is even going to remember? I am a living example of what actually happens when you dream big, and that is nothing. Hardly a legacy. Penfold is about where I am in life right now, and the moral battle of doing the right thing, even when it’s not what you want but more in the interest of the ones you love.

Hopeless Records will release Mend, Move On, the group’s debut full-length album, on November 4. Pre-sale is happening now through both MerchNOW and iTunes.
