Before Tommy's segment is Gogol Bordello's new track "pala tute"...Great track! Anyway, fantastic performance by Tom, as always!
haha, great interview. i love the muppets too!
I dig it!
This band does not sound the way they look, holy smokes!
DON'T ORDER THE TEQUILA!
WOW! sounds like something out of the "Cokie the Clown" song. Video w/lyrics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfrvg-kdqdo
LOVE the album artwork!!!! It's nostalgic, it's feel-good, the colour scheme is fantastic!
North American tour starting in October, after Europe...Here's hopin'!
I second milhouse's comments. fantastic review, definitely looking forward to giving it a listen!
Alkaline Trio's song Dine, Dine My Darling on "This Addiction" is a FANTASTIC track! If you anyone buys this album, make sure you get the Deluxe version as it includes a couple of acoustic renditions of the song PLUS a DVD of one of their concerts. Dine, Dine My Darling is performed acoustically and Dan's voice fits perfectly with the style of the music. Definitely a good investment!
There's definitely some potential here. Looking forward to More Than A Feeling, We Are The Champions, Dream On, and Bohemian Rhapsody! This "punk goes..." series has definitely featured some gems!
This CD is fantastic! I hadn't heard of them till I read this review and your review is what got me hooked! A writer myself, I'm big on lyrics...and melodies...this CD has both. There are certain sections in the songs that definitely remind me of a band but I can't put my finger on what band that is. Needless to say, I'll be following this band closely now!
