If like me you’ve been jonesin’ to catch The Queers live lately but you just can’t seem to make it to a show here’s the next best thing.  Those loveable characters at Felony Records caught the band’s entire show in Long Beach a few days ago on film.  Check it out below.

The show was one of the band’s stop on their tour with The Dwarves, Masked Intruder, and The Atom Age.

The Queers to play “Love Songs For The Retarded” in full at upcoming Denver, Colorado show

The Queers have announced they will be playing their classic 1993 album “Love Songs for the Retarded” in its entirety for the third time this year on April 25th at The Bluebird Theater in Denver, Colorado.

Screeching Weasel add Pittsburgh show to spring tour dates

Screeching Weasel have just announced another show they will be playing with The Queers and The Manges this spring. The show will be taking place on June 8th (the night after the Philly date w/ the same bands that was announced last week) at The Altar in Pittsburgh, PA.

Screeching Weasel have just announced they will be playing a one-off show in Philadelphia on June 7th, in addition to next month’s sold-out show in San Antonio, Texas. The Queers will be playing both shows and The Manges will be flying in from Italy for the Philly date.

The Queers to play “Love Songs for the Retarded” front-to-back in Chicago & New York City

Legendary pop-punk act The Queers have announced they will be playing their classic 1993 album “Love Songs for the Retarded” in its entirety on the 14th and 15th of February in Chicago and New York City, respectively.

The venues the shows will be taking place at are currently unannounced but the band stated more details and pre-sale tickets will be made available on Tuesday, January 21st.

Screeching Weasel announce one-off show in Texas w/ The Queers

Screeching Weasel have just announced they will be playing a one-off show in San Antonio, Texas, at The Korova on Saturday, April 5th.

Sexy Baby Records tease plans for “Sexy Babies Across The Wasteland – Vol. 2”

The kind folks at Sexy Baby Records have announced plans for a pretty rad compilation, set to hit the streets in the near future.

Entitled “Sexy Babies Across The Wasteland Volume 2 – Sexy Music for Sick People,” the compilation is slated to feature the likes of MxPx, The Queers, The Lucky Ones, Stat Dad, Hex Bombs, and a ton more. No official release information is available yet (aside from that sweet-ass cover art), but we’ll keep you posted.



Interview: Joe Queer talks solo album, Ben Weasel side project, Hopeless vs. Asian Man Records and more

Two-thirds of New Hampshire’s pop punk act The Queers sat down with the guys from BlankTV for a really great interview about upcoming releases, the CBGB movie, getting screwed by Hopeless Records, The Ramones and writing novels.

Spoiler alert: Joe Queer is apparently working on a solo album and a side-project with Ben Weasel and he’s writing a book. Also, The Queers plan to re-record their Hopeless Records albums “Beyond the Valley of the Assfuckers” and “Punk Rock Confidential” and reissue them on Asian Man Records!

Oh, there’s also a quick snippet of the band performing “See You Later Fuckface” live at Tesco Fest in Detroit – you guys can try to spot me in the clip.

Richie Ramone performs “Somebody Put Something In My Drink” on stage with The Queers

Former Ramones drummer, songwriter, and occasional vocalist  Richie Ramone joined pop-punk group The Queers on stage in Los Angeles for a Ramones cover of “Somebody Put Something In My Drink”. The song appears on The Ramones’ album “Animal Boy”, and it was written by Richie Ramone after someone allegedly put LSD into his drink.
