Although a couple of us in the Dying Scene circle have been preaching the virtues of the burgeoning music scene in the Boston area for the last handful of years, you have to rewind the tape nearly twenty years to the explosion of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones to get to a time where there was a sizable Bay State presence thriving on a larger level.
One of those local bands that had made a bit of a name for themselves over a career that spanned a dozen years was Kicked In The Head. They put out a couple studio albums, they toured a bunch (especially on the East Coast) and then, like so many other bands before and since, they were gone.
Until now! The four piece have announced plans for not one, but two hometown shows. They’ll take place on back-to-back nights (November 10th and 11th) at Great Scott in Boston’s Allston neighborhood, and they mark the band’s first shows in twelve years. Check out details and ticket information here!
