Coheed and Cambria will be touring in support of their latest album, The Color Before The Sun, which was released on October 16, 2015.
Coheed and Cambria have released a new video for their song “Island,” and you can watch it below. The video is a play on good vs. evil, as represented by two comic book-esque superheroes. Frontman Claudio Sanchez describes the video like this:
“When I think of these two iconic characters, I think of opposite attraction. I think of myself and my wife. How two opposite ends of a spectrum can create harmony and balance. In one way or another, these characters have been paired up with like-minded love interests, the Bat and the Cat… The Alien and the Amazonian… I wanted to bring the Dark and the Light together.”

Coheed and Cambria‘s newest album, The Color Before the Sun, will be released on October 9th, but you can now get a feel for the concept behind the album. The band has released the cover art and track listing, both of which you can find below.
The image of a serene lake and a house flying piece-by-piece into the sky will show you the feeling of disillusion that prevails throughout the new album. The songs narrate frontman Claudio Sanchez’s feelings about fatherhood and losing a home, set to the band’s unique “space-rock” vibe. The cover art was designed by Nick Steinhardt of Touché Amoré and Deafheaven.
You can catch Coheed and Cambria on tour (more info here), and pick up the album on October 9th.

Not often we hear something from a completely unknown group that absolutely blows us away. Believe us, we listen to a lot of punk-- and news flash: not all of it's good. But 24 Hour Punks, discovered through a lucky click on bandcamp, is incredible. Think fast, intense melodic punk that lands somewhere between hard-hitting 90s skate and Cock Sparrer. It's a powerful concoction for a debut EP. Even better, there's a story behind it. As the band's name suggests, Why We Fight was written, rehearsed, and recorded in 24 hours. All proceeds go to charity organization AMMF. We're not kidding! Check out the three song EP and listen to 24 Hour Punks raise the bar here.
