Cancer Bats, Flatliners and Heart Attack kids announce pair of shows

What would a Tuesday be without a reference to maple syrup, Celine, or poutine? So here we go, pull out the good syrup, throw on some Celine and head to your favorite fry truck because Cancer Bats, The Flatliners and Heart Attack Kids have announced a pair of shows in Kingston and Barrie for September.

No word on if these guys will extend the tour beyond these two dates but it’s probably a safe bet. So if you want to check these guys out in an intimate setting join me on September 20th in Kingston, Ontario at The Mansion for a great show.

The most recent release from the Cancer Bats is The Spark That Moves released earlier this year.

The fine people at Toronto’s New Damage Records have released a summer sampler featuring songs by Cancer Bats, Seaway, Counterparts, Youth Decay and a bunch of other bands.

Weezer (performing “Pinkerton” and “The Blue Album”), Cancer Bats, System of A Down and more added to Riot Fest lineups

A handful of big-time acts have been added to the lineups at the three Riot Fest locations for later this summer…because you needed MORE of a reason to go.

Now appearing at the Denver Riot Fest (Aug 28-30) will be System Of A Down, The Prodigy (who are still a band because 1990s big beat music will somehow never die…) and Death Grips. Added to the lineup at the Chicago installment of Riot Fest (September 11-13) will be System Of A Down and The Prodigy, and now appearing in Toronto (September 19-20) will be Cancer Bats, The Prodigy, Bleachers, and Weezer, who’ll be performing “The Blue Album” and “Pinkerton” in their entirety.

Danzig announce tour with Pennywise and Cancer Bats

Lock up your daughters (or, realistically, your mothers at this point)…Danzig is hitting the road!

Glenn Danzig’s eponymous band of misfits (see what I did there?) is hitting the road in July, and they’re taking Pennywise and Cancer Bats along for the ride. The jaunt kicks off July 12 in Flagstaff, Arizona, and runs through July 31st in Vegas. Check out the full rundown below.

When last we knew, Danzig was in the studio recording their upcoming album due for release in late 2015 or early 2016. Danzig’s last album, Death Red Sabaoth, came out in 2010 through Evilive Records. Check back for more info on both these upcoming releases soon.
