Senses Fail stream new acoustic EP “In Your Absence”

New Jersey post-hardcore veterans Senses Fail are streaming their newest EP, In Your Absence, in full. The 5-track acoustic EP is a celebration of the band’s 15 year anniversary. On the EP are revamped tracks like, “Family Tradition” and “Lost and Found”, as well as new acoustic ballads that touch on subjects like death and loss – subjects that helped formulate this EP, according to a Q&A with vocalist Buddy Nielsen.

The band will also be embarking on a 15th anniversary tour where they will be playing their 2006 album, Still Searching, in its entirety plus fan favourites. You can check those dates and locations out below along with a full stream of the EP. You can read the Q&A with Nielsen here.

In Your Absence is scheduled for release on March 3rd through Pure Noise Entertainment. It follows their 2015 LP, Pull The Thorns From Your Heart.

New Jersey post-hardcore veterans Senses Fail have released a brand new track off of their upcoming acoustic EP, In Your Absence. The song is the title track off of the upcoming release, which is being released in celebration of the band’s 15th anniversary. You can check it out below.

In Your Absence is scheduled for release on March 3rd through Pure Noise Entertainment. It follows their 2015 LP, Pull The Thorns From Your Heart. 



Senses Fail release music video for new acoustic song “Jets to Peru”

New Jersey’s Senses Fail have released a music video for a song from their upcoming acoustic EP In Your Absence. The track’s called “Jets to Peru,” and you can check it out below.

Here’s what frontman Buddy Nielsen had to say about the acoustic release:

“15 years ago the first thing we ever did was put together an EP, that eventually turned into a longer EP called From The Depths of Dreams which was our first official release. WE thought it would be appropriate to celebrate our 15 year anniversary by doing the same thing. These songs are a throwback to an older style of Senses Fail and we are very proud of exploring this sound and the future. Here is to another 15 years.”

Senses Fail stream track off forthcoming acoustic EP “In Your Absence”

Senses Fail announce 15 year anniversary North America tour & announce details on new acoustic EP “In Your Absence”

New Jersey post-hardcore band Senses Fail have announced a North American tour to celebrate their 15th anniversary as a band. The tour begins on March 3rd, 2017, which they have also announced will be the date their new acoustic EP, titled “In Your Absence,” will be released through Pure Noise Records. You can find tour dates and locations below, as well as cover art for the EP and a tracklist.

Senses Fail will be bringing Canadian post-hardcore band Counterparts, O.C. post-hardcore/emo act Movements, and Canadian pop-punks Like Pacific along as supports for the entire tour. The band is also streaming the acoustic version of “Lost and Found” from the upcoming EP via YouTube, find the video at the bottom.



Sum 41 announce “Don’t Call It a Sum-Back Tour” with Senses Fail and As It Is

Canadian pop-punk veterans Sum 41 have announced they will embark on the “Don’t Call It a Sum-Back Tour” this fall, with support from Senses Fail and As It Is. The tour will kick off in Orlando, Florida two days before the release of the band’s new album 13 Voices, and will come to a close in Los Angeles on November 6th.

The dates and locations are below.

13 Voices is set to release on October 7th through Hopeless Records, serving as a follow-up to 2011’s Screaming Bloody Murder. It will also be the band’s first record since 2004’s Chuck to feature Dave “Brownsound” Baksh on guitar.



Senses Fail vocalist forms new band “Speak The Truth”

Buddy Nielsen, vocalist for New Jersey post-hardcore band Senses Fail, has announced that he is now part of a new band with members of Finch called Speak The Truth. Along with this announcement he added that the band “sounds like 2002” and should make for a good throwback to the beginning of the century.

No further information has surfaced about this group, however, we will keep you up to date with new music and other details as they come to light.

Senses Fail’s last album, “Pull The Thorns From Your Heart,” was released back in June on Pure Noise Records.



Senses Fail to record acoustic EP

New Jersey-based band Senses Fail have announced that they will be working on an acoustic EP coming up very soon. The band is taking requests from fans for what songs you would like to make the cut, so be sure to reach out to them and let them know what you want to hear on the EP.

This EP will come as a followup to their latest full length album “Pull The Thorns From Your Heart”, which is out now via Pure Noise Records.



Senses Fail announce 2016 Australian tour dates

New Jersey-based post-hardcore / emo act Senses Fail are taking their show back on the road to Australia for the first time in a few years in early 2016.

Senses Fail announces fall U.S. tour with Silverstein

New Jersey post-hardcore band Senses Fail is hitting the road this fall with Canada’s Silverstein for a slew of dates across the U.S.  Check out the list of dates and cities below.

Silverstein most recently released I Am Alive In Everything I Touch this past May, and Senses Fail released Pull The Thorns From Your Heart in June.
