Rad Girlfriend Records stream split from Kyle Kinane and The Slow Death

Rad Girlfriend Records have released a new split EP featuring Minneapolis punk act The Slow Death and punk rock’s favorite funny man Kyle Kinane.  As a bonus, it looks like the artwork was done by punk rock’s favorite comic artist, Mitch Clem.

We’re a little late on this one (the last time we reported, the band was only streaming two songs), but Minneapolis punk band The Slow Death have put up their new EP, No Heaven, up in its entirety to stream online.

No Heaven came out (and has been available to stream since) August 5 via Rad Girlfriend Records. The EP followed the band’s debut album, Born Ugly, Got Worse, which came out in 2011 on Kiss of Death Records.

The Slow Death recording new album

Minneapolis punk band The Slow Death announced via Facebook last Tuesday that they will begin recording a new album this weekend:

going into the studio this weekend to make a new slow death record.

The band released their last album “Born Ugly, Got Worse,” in 2011 on Kiss of Death Records.



The Arteries and the Slow Death announce European tour

UK hardcore group The Arteries and Minneapolis, MN punk band The Slow Death have announced a string of European tour dates together, starting next month.

The Arteries released their Restless EP a couple months ago in 2012 on Kiss of Death Records. The Slow Death have tweeted that they’ve entered the studio to record the follow up to their 2011 release Born Ugly Got Worse.



The Brokedowns and The Slow Death releasing split 7-inch

Even more news from the Red Scare front.  The label will be doing a split 7″ that will pair up Chicagoland punk band The Brokedowns and Minneapolis punk band The Slow Death. They’ll be doing three songs on each side.

No release info yet but we’ll keep you posted.



The Slow Death announce East Coast tour dates

Minneapolis punk band The Slow Death are about to hit the road for a month-long tour up the East Coast. The tour will take the band down to the Fest in Gainesville, then as far north as Massachusetts before they head home. Several of the dates at the beginning of the tour will be played with Arms Aloft, and the band will meet up with The Fake Boys to finish up the tour’s last handful of shows.
