Local Resident Failure re-releasing debut album – “A Breath of Stale Air”

Australian skate punks Local Resident Failure are re-releasing their debut album, A Breath of Stale Air, this time on vinyl for the first time ever. The re-release follows the band’s highly-acclaimed sophomore album, This Here’s The Hard Part, which came out in March 2015.

The re-release is being put out by Australia’s Pee Records (pre-orders Monday here), with the UK/EU release being handled by Disconnect Disconnect Records (pre-orders Monday here), and the fine dudes at Oxford Records will be putting out the US release (pre-orders Monday here).

Aussie skate punks Local Resident Failure have revealed some more details on their upcoming album This Here’s The Hard Part.

We now know the album is set to be released in late February on Pee Records in Australia. It will also get a UK release from Disconnect Disconnect Records, and here in the US, Chicago label Oxford Records will put out the new album.

This Here’s The Hard Part will get the full vinyl treatment, with vinyl-specific art and everything. That artwork, along with a set release date, and pre-order information is coming soon, so stay tuned! In the meantime, check out the video we posted last month, featuring a song from the new album.

Local Resident Failure premiere video for “Around the World”

Newcastle punks Local Resident Failure have premiered a new video for their song “Around the World” and you can check it out below!

The song is off of their upcoming album, titled This Here’s The Hard Part, which is slated to drop in early 2015. Their last full-length, A Breath Of Stale Air, was released back in 2012 through Pee Records.



NOFX announce openers for upcoming Australian tour (Frenzal Rhomb, Local Resident Failure and more)

A month or so ago, NOFX announced some details for their first Australian tour in four years. Now we know who they’re taking along for the ride.

Support slots will rotate on most shows, and will come from the likes of Frenzal Rhomb (!), Local Resident Failure, The Bennies, Bodyjar, and Army of Champions. Head below to see the show-specific details.

The band’s latest full-length album Self Entitled was released in 2012 through Fat Wreck Chords. They have since released an EP entitled Stoke Extinguisher. New Castle punk rockers Local Resident Failure have announced an extensive run of European tour dates they’ll be playing this summer. Details on when and where you’ll be able to catch the band can be found below.

Local Resident Failure’s last full-length entitled A Breath Of Stale Air was released back in 2012 through Pee Records. They began working on a new album to serve as a follow-up in early June after raising a bit of money to cover the recording costs via IndieGoGo.
