Posted by Johnny X on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 6:24 PM (PST)

Some good and bad news from Two Cow Garage today.  First, the bad news.  The band had its van broken into recently and had a bunch of stuff stolen.  To help recoup some of their losses they’re appealing to fans to do a little shopping in their merch store.

Now the good news.  Despite the stolen good incident, the band is going to be recording demos for their 6th full-length album this weekend. Booyah!

No other details but we’ll keep you posted.

You can stream, and download Two Cow Garage’s latest EP “Sweet Saint Me” right here.

Band Spotlight: Two Cow Garage

Posted by aaronx on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 4:10 PM (PST)

Fans of the ever-growing folk-punk movement should take a moment to give this band a listen. Columbus Ohio’s Two Cow Garage pull as much from old folk storytelling and Bruce Springsteen’s rock and roll charisma, as they do from pure punk rock attitude and energy. Referencing Woodie Guthrie and Bob Dylan, the bands lyrics are thought provoking and catchy, but not to be taken lightly. Highly recommended for fans of Tim Barry, Drag The River, Chuck Ragan, and The Gaslight Anthem. You can give listen to their 2008 album, “Speaking in Cursive,” in entirety here to get a feel for them and if you like what you hear we know you’re going to love their new album “Sweet Saint Me” coming out October 26. And if you get the opportunity, do yourself a major favor and check them out live – their stage presence is nearly unbeatable. You can see their current tour dates here.
