Tim Lambesis (As I Lay Dying) sentenced to 6 years for hiring hit man to kill his wife

As most of you know, As I Lay Dying singer Tim Lambesis was arrested last year for attempting to hire a hit man to kill his wife. Welp, apparently all you get for trying to murder the one person in the world you’re supposed to care the most about is 6 measly years in prison.  Does that seem a little low to anybody else?

As I Lay Dying form Wovenwar with Oh, Sleeper frontman, release teaser

As I Lay Dying members Jordan Mancino, Nick Hipa, Phil Sgrosso, and Josh Gilbert have formed a new group under the name Wovenwar with Oh, Sleeper frontman Shane Blay.

This development follows the band’s recent scandal concerning their former frontman Tim Lambesis’ arrest for allegedly attempting to hire a hit man to murder his wife.

Wovenwar will be releasing a new track, “All Rise”, next week. You can check out a teaser for the song below.

This summer, the group will release their debut album via Metal Blade Records.

As I Lay Dying front man, and accused attempted wife murderer Tim Lambesis has eroded his credibility even further, including with his own bandmates.  Apparently, the statement we posted earlier today was all conjured from the mind of Lambesis who failed to communicate any of the information with his label and bandmates untill said statement was posted.

It looks like San Diego metalcore act,  As I Lay Dying, will be moving forward without front man, Tim Lambesis following a year long legal battle after Lambesis was arrested for attempting to hire a hit man to murder his wife. The remaining members of As I Lay Dying have now posted song snippets of new music.

Tim Lambesis pleads guilty to hiring a hitman to kill wife

As most of you know, As I Lay Dying singer Tim Lambesis was arrested last year for attempting to attempting to hire a hit man to kill his wife. As most of you probably don’t know, his wife has filed a lawsuit against him for $2 million.

Lambesis has recently changed his plea from not guilty to guilty, and several sources are saying can he may end up facing a nine year sentence.

Tim Lambesis’ (As I Lay Dying) wife seeks $2 million in court

As most of you know, As I Lay Dying singer Tim Lambesis was arrested for attempting to attempting to hire a hit man to kill his wife. As most of you probably don’t know, his wife has filed a lawsuit against him for $2 million. Lambgoat reports:

“On August 2, 2013, Meggan Lambesis filed a civil suit, seeking significant monetary damages from her not-yet-ex-husband. This suit was filed nearly one year after she filed for divorce, in the same courthouse where her husband is facing his much-discussed criminal case.

Meggan claims “personal injury” and “assault, domestic violence” and “intentional infliction of emotional distress;” these injuries from when her husband allegedly hired a hitman.

“The solicitation of another individual to commit murder upon a spouse is abuse….The actions of the Defendant …constitute an actionable assault….Timothy Lambesis’ actions were intentional, reckless and outrageous….the actions of Defendant are not tolerated in a civilized society…” are some statements found in the latest action.

In this case, Meggan Lambesis is asking $1 million for emotional distress and $25,000 in medical expenses to date, in addition to $75,000 for future medical expenses and $1 million in punitive damages. The suit also seeks attorneys’ fees.

The next court date for the civil matter is set for April 2014, in San Diego’s North County Superior Courthouse.”

Austrian Death Machine near completion of “Triple Brutal”

Austrian Death Machine, the Arnold Schwarzenegger-fronted side project of As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis, is pushing ahead with the release of their long-awaited album “Triple Brutal.” Here’s what Lambesis had to say in the first of a series of facebook posts:

We booked mastering time this week to make the official CD with track markers and all! Now on to discussions about who will manufacture Triple Brutal so we can get it to those of you who have been waiting. As said before, we are sorry for the delay and appreciate the understanding given the major recent events.

“Triple Brutal,” as you may know, was a crowd-funded project. When asked if the final album would be “$250 good,” Lambesis responded:

When we know a little more about what is going on legally we can make a general statement about how we’ll be handling those passes. In the meantime, we apologize if you sent us a message about it through the campaign. We are trying to catch up on the personal messages there and can address it there.

It should be noted that the giant elephant in the room that Lambesis is referring to pertains to his recent arrest for trying to hire a hitman to kill his wife. He’s presently out on bail and wearing a GPS monitoring device.



As I Lay Dying singer’s lawyer says steriods were to blame in attempt to hire hit man to kill wife

As most of you know, As I Lay Dying singer Tim Lambesis was recently arrested for attempting to hire a hit man to kill his wife. Since we last reported on the incident, Lambesis has once again appeared in court for a bail hearing where his lawyer Thomas Warwick, according to recent reports, said the singer’s use of steroids was to blame for his extreme behavior.

During the bail hearing, the judge decided to lower Lambesis’ $3 million bail to $2 million, in spite of Warwick arguing for the amount to be lowered to $250,000, due to his client’s inability to pay, even with the new reduced bail figure.

As I Lay Dying pull out of tour with Killswitch Engage

If you haven’t heard – Tim Lambesis, lead singer of As I Lay Dying, is in jail for trying to put a hit out on his wife. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, the band has been forced to forgo their upcoming dates with Killswitch Engage.

Unless you have been living under a rock the last few days, then you should know that As I Lay Dying singer Tim Lambesis was recently arrested for trying to hire a hit man to kill his wife.

As I Lay Dying singer tries to hire hit man to murder wife, goes to jail instead

Holy shit!  Tim Lambesis, frontman for San Diego metalcore outfit As I Lay Dying has apparently been taken into custody for attempting to hire a hit man to kill his estranged wife.  Here’s a snippet from the mostly vague report on yahoo:

“Lambesis was taken into custody on Tuesday in Oceanside, California, after he solicited help from the detective, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement. Police had previously learned Lambesis was seeking someone who could commit the slaying, the department said.”

No official statement from the band or record label yet but we’ll keep you posted as more details surface.

Killswitch Engage announce tour dates with As I Lay Dying, Miss May I

Killswitch Engage have announced a full-scale headlining tour that will find the band covering all points of the US this Summer. Their jaunt kicks off May 30th in Oklahoma and winds up in Joliet, IL, on July 8th. Miss May I, As I Lay Dying and Affiance will serve as support on all dates. Click here for the full rundown.
