Tigers Jaw debut new track, “Guardian,” off upcoming album “spin”

After a pretty tumultuous couple years, York, Pennsylvania’s Tigers Jaw have re-emerged in a pared down version of their former selves. Gone are 60% of the former lineup, but the remaining duo, Ben Walsh and Brianna Collins, have announced details of a brand new album. It’s called “spin,” and it marks the first release on Will Yip’s Black Cement Records.

To whet your appetite for “spin,” the band have released a new single called “Guardian.” Check it out below.

“spin” is due out May 19th, the same day they duo are slated to kick off a short US tour. Dates are available down below the new music. “spin” marks the band’s first release since 2014’s “Charmer,” which was released by Run For Cover Records.



Free music: Run For Cover records making all music “pay what you want” for the weekend

“In light of recent events,” Boston record label Run For Cover Records is now making it’s entire Bandcamp catalog available for free/name your price download, for this weekend only. Check it all out over here.

There’s quite a lot of music available to download, including albums from Modern Baseball, Tigers Jaw, Hostage Calm, Man Overboard, Self Defense Family, and Pity Sex, just to name a few.

For money earned through Sunday, the label will give 100% of the proceeds to Planned Parenthood. Not only that, but they’ll also match the donations up to $5,000.



New Found Glory announce contest to appear in video for “Ready and Willing”

Pop-punk veterans  New Found Glory  have announced a contest with a pretty sick prize: a chance to appear in the video for the single “Ready and Willing.”  They want fans to make videos of themselves covering the tune, and they will select winning videos for inclusion in the soon-to-be-released video for the song.

Tigers Jaw streaming entire new album “Studio 4 Acoustic Sessions”

Curiously-punctuated Scranton-based pop-punks Tigers Jaw is streaming their newest material “Studio 4 Acoustic Sessions”, in its entirety.

The album was recorded with Will Yip at his new studio (Studio 4, as you might have imagined) back in September 2013, and it is slated for release next week (June 30th) through Yip’s new label, Memory Music.

Tigers Jaw stream acoustic rendition of “I Saw Water”

Curiously-punctuated Scranton-based pop-punks Tigers Jaw have released another track from their upcoming “Live in Studio 4” album. It’s for the track “I Saw Water,” which initially appeared on the band’s self-titled 2012 full-length. Check out the acoustic version here.

Yellow Card and New Found Glory announce fall US co-headline tour with Tigers Jaw

Pop-punk classics New Found Glory and Yellowcard will be hitting the road together with the support of Tigers Jaw, for a US tour this fall.

In celebration of this tour announcement, Yellowcard has released a music video for the track “California” off their latest album “Lift A Sail,” which you can watch here.

New Found Glory, Yellowcard & Tigers Jaw announce US tour

New Found Glory and Yellowcard have revealed that they will be going on US tour together with special guests Tigers Jaw. Not much more is known at this point but an announcement video was posted to NFG’s YouTube page that features Ryan Key and Ryan Mendez from Yellowcard awkwardly discussing the possibility of a tour in a short 30 second skit. Yellowcard and NFG’s Facebook pages both link to the same video announcement with a caption indicating that the details are going to be revealed on May 26th at 10AM EST, so stay tuned for those!
