Armatage Shanks stream radio version of new song “Break Down The Walls”

Norwegian melodic punk act Armatage Shanks are streaming the radio version of a new song, called “Break Down The Walls,” which appears on their new album, “Lost and Broken.”

Norwegian melodic punk act Armatage Shanks have finally announced details surrounding their upcoming full-length album. “Lost And Broken” will be released August 17th through HRC/Indie and you can get a first listen of a new song titled “Raise Your Voice” from it right here.

Armatage Shanks recording new album, post video from the studio

Norwegian melodic punk act Armatage Shanks are currently in the studio working on a new album. To prove it they’ve posted this nifty little video with some, what I’m assuming, is new instrumentals from the album.

For those of you that are familiar with these dudes, you know they’ve been working on this album for literally years. For those of you that are not familiar, you can give a few of their tunes a listen on their, yep, MySpace.

Armatage Shanks streaming new song “One By One”

Norwegian punk act, Armatage Shanks have added another new song to their MySpace page. It’s titled “One By One” and according to the band’s Facebook page it is a new song, but they still haven’t made any announcements about a new album.

Armatage Shanks streaming new song “Pretend”

Norwegian punk act, Armatage Shanks have added a new song to their MySpace page. It’s titled “Pretend” and they’ve made absolutely no mention as to where it comes from. I’m guessing it’s new, like the song they posted last week.

New Song: “Light Ahead” by Armatage Shanks

In case you couldn’t tell from the name of the band, Armatage Shanks takes inspiration from the song name of one of their influences, Green Day. In fact, the guys in Armatage Shanks started off as a Green Day cover band back in 1998…in Norway. The band was well-received and began writing their own material, and then just seemed to fade away.

Well, the band has been back and working on new stuff, and has just uploaded a new song on their MySpace page. There’s no information on Light Ahead, however it is my educated guess that there will be a new album in the near future from these guys. Check out the track here.
