Jimmy Eat World detail new album “Integrity Blues”, announce world tour dates

Arizona legends Jimmy Eat World have revealed the artwork and track listing of their upcoming album Integrity Blues, which will be released on October 21st via RCA and will be the band’s first record since 2013’s Damaged. The album’s track listing can be seen below.

Starting tomorrow, just before the release of Integrity Blues, Jimmy Eat World will embark on a two-month tour of the UK, Europe and the United States. The dates and locations are below as well.



Jimmy Eat World tease new album

Arizona legends Jimmy Eat World have revealed a teaser video of what appears to be news of a brand new upcoming album. So far, the only thing fans are getting is an instrumental clip and some video footage on the band’s website, which prompts visitors to leave their email addresses and “stay tuned.” You can take a look at the clip here.

Stream Jimmy Eat World tribute album “Sing It Back” (Wander, You Vandal, Dan Cribb & the Isolated)

Arizona pop-punk icons Jimmy Eat World changed the game when it comes to pop-punk. Since 2001 they have released hit after hit and have stood the test of time as a wildly popular and influential band of the 2000’s and today; so it is no surprise that a tribute album has been made honoring them. The album is called “Sing It Back” and you can give it a listen below.

The release is curated by Australian pop-punk band Dan Cribb & The Isolated and features the likes of Wander, Long Knives, Burn The City, You Vandal and more. Proceeds from the album will go directly to Unicef’s Nepal Earthquake Children’s Appeal to help raise awareness over the ongoing struggles surrounding the aftershock of the devastating Nepal earthquakes.



Jim Adkins (Jimmy Eat World) announces Summer Singles Series

Jimmy Eat World vocalist Jim Adkins has announced a new singles subscription series this summer to follow up with his plans to tour as a solo act this year. Adkins will be releasing a new song every week over the course of six weeks, culminating in three 7-inch singles once the project has finished.

Jimmy Eat World announces “Futures” 10 Year Anniversary Australian tour

After they tour the U.S. in October, Jimmy Eat World will tour Australia in November to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their 2004 hit album Futures. The dates and locations are below.

Jimmy Eat World announces “Futures” 10 Year Anniversary North American tour

Jimmy Eat World has just announced that they will be touring the greater part of North America to commemorate the 10th anniversary since the release of their hit album, “Futures”, which, since being released back in 2004, has achieved ‘Gold Record’ status.

The tour begins October 2nd at the Ventura Theater where the band will perform “Futures” in its entirety, and will continue on the West Coast before traveling eastbound.

In addition to the tour, the band will also be reissuing three titles on double LP – “Static Prevails” on August 19th, “Clarity” on September 2nd and “Futures” on September 30th (each LP will contain bonus tracks).

Sometimes they pull off amazing interpretations of old classics, sometimes they’re not much more than humble tributes to a fellow artist, and other times they’re just downright laughable renditions of otherwise great songs. Good or bad. Intriguing or mundane. We’ll let you be the judge.

In their latest episode “Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers”, which was premiered last night, the iconic TV show “South Park” paid “emo” homage to Sunny Day Real Estate, Fall Out BoyMy Chemical RomanceCoheed and Cambria, Soasin, Jimmy Eat WorldHawthorne Heights and many others, with parody names like “Zaozin” as a parody of Soasin and “My Medical Relationship” as a parody of My Chemical Romance.

Jimmy Eat World cover Taylor Swift for Conan

Apparently pop-punk/emo act Jimmy Eat World have been covering Taylor Swift’s song entitled “We Are Never Getting Back Together” during their current tour.

The band recently performed on Conan, where they played the title track off their newest release, “Damage”. In a ‘web-exclusive’, the band recorded the cover, which you can view here.
