Larry and His Flask announce album for 2019

Oregon five piece of bluegrass-folk-punk Larry and His Flask are now returning to Xtra Mile Recordings for a new album in 2019. The quintet is returning after five years after their last release, “By The Lamplight.”

In regards to re-signing with XMR the band says,  “When we were faced with what company to approach for our new album XMR was our first and only choice. Not to mention they have some of our favourite bands on their label. We are so excited to be part of the XMR family with Frank Turner, Against Me, Skinny Lister and on and on. XMR is a perfect fit for us.”

Larry And His Flask have van, trailer, equipment and personal items stolen on tour

According to a recent post on the band’s Facebook page, our friends in Larry And His Flask had their van, trailer, and all of their equipment and personal possessions stolen last night in Cayce, South Carolina.

Larry And His Flask last released By The Lamplight in June, 2013 through Xtra Mile Recordings. The band’s currently touring the US with Foxy Shazam and they apparently have a new record in the works (head over here for a video of them playing a new song live).

Folk punkers Larry And His Flask have been working on new material, and apparently they’re now testing some of it out live. Check out a video of them playing one of their new songs below.

Larry and His Flask to record and tour in 2014

According to a recent Facebook post, folk-punks Larry and His Flask will be working on new material and will be hitting the road this year:

We are going to be recording some different projects over the next couple months before we head back out to tour. 2014 is going to be full of lots of new music and shows all over the world!”

In May the band will be part of Groezrock 2014 in Belgium and Pirate Satellite Festival in Stuttgart.

Their most recent album “By The Lamplight” came out in June on Xtra Mile Recordings.



Xtra Mile Recordings releases track listings for 7″ series featuring Mongol Horde and Larry and His Flask

Every Monday in October, Britain’s Xtra Mile Recordings is releasing a series of 4 limited-edition split 7″s to celebrate their 10th anniversary.  Frank Turner‘s hardcore band Mongol Horde will be featured on one split, and Larry and His Flask will be representing the USA on another.

The original artwork featured on the album covers can be fit together to reveal a download code for an additional 10 tracks.

Larry and His Flask announce European winter tour

Folk-punk superstars Larry and His Flask will be hitting the road for a quick run of European tour dates in early December.

The band will be releasing a split 7-inch with Cobra Skulls sometime soon through Asian Man Records. Their last release “By The Lamplight” came out in June on Xtra Mile Recordings.

Cobra Skulls to release split 7-inch w/ Larry and His Flask

Cobra Skulls and Larry and His Flask have announced plans to release a split 7-inch (cover art pictured above) sometime soon on Asian Man Records.

The title says it all.  The very energetic folk-punk super stars, Larry and His Flask,  have announced that their new album, “By The Lamplight”  will be released on June 25th on Cascadian Records in the US, and Xtra Mile Records else where.  The band will also be going on a massive tour in support of the album.

Larry and his Flask sign to Xtra Mile Recordings, to tour with Frank Turner

Oregon folk-punk group Larry and his Flask have announced that their forthcoming EP Hobo’s Lament, and their as yet untitled album, will both be released by Xtra Mile Recordings.

Says the band of the announcement, “We couldn’t be happier joining the Xtra Mile family.  We’ve held off releasing our music outside North America for far too long, waiting for the perfect fit.  We are sure that we found our match.”

In addition to Hobo’s Lament, which is to be released April 22nd digitally and May 6th on CD, the band is also gearing up for a European tour with Frank Turner, as well as a number of dates alone. You can see those dates by clicking here.
