Video: Watch Patrick Stump’s recent cameo on FOX’s “House, M.D.”

Posted by jaystone on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 4:08 PM (PST)

Former Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump is more than just a soul punk, apparently. Stump recently made an appearance on the hit FOX medical mystery drama “House, M.D.”

No, he wasn’t playing a patient with a rare case of ebola-infested herpes in his colon. Stump portrayed a medical resident and potential suitor for Dr. Park (portrayed by Charlene Yi). And yes…he played a musician.

Anyway, in case you missed it, you can check out Stump’s performance right here. I’m not the most astute FOB fan, though I’ll admit that I watched the episode and had no idea that was him. Judge for yourself.

Stump’s solo full-length debut, “Soul Punk,” debuted last October.

Today, Stump premiered a video on Billboard‘s YouTube page for his cover of rapper Big Boi’s song, “Shutterbug”. Although the song is not featured on “Soul Punk”, the cover gives us a glimpse into the solo style of the artist. Patrick Stump unveils “Soul Punk” track list

patrick stumpFormer Fall Out Boy frontman and current solo troubadour Patrick Stump has offered a tease of his debut solo full length, “Soul Punk.” Sadly, it’s not a musical tease.

Rather, Stump has released the tracklist for “Soul Punk.” To me, and advance tracklist for an album that isn’t a greatest hits collection or a live album is essentially pointless, but check it out here and judge for yourself.

“Soul Punk” is due out October 18th.
