The Shell Corporation release video for “Kumbaya”

California punk act The Shell Corporation has released a hilarious Donald Trump-themed video called “Kumbaya”, which can be viewed below.

The band on the video, “Yes. The tape is real and we, The Shell Corporation, as patriotic Americans, feel it is our civic doodie to leak it. How we came to have this in our possession is no ones concern. Just sit back and let us shower you with our golden revelations.”

“Kumbaya” is taken from The Shell Corporation’s latest album Fucked, which was released last March through La Escalera Records at home and Gunner Records abroad.

US and European pre-orders are up now. The album is the follow up to 2014’s “Mandrake”.

California punk act The Shell Corporation have released a music video for their brand new song “Make It Rain”, taken from their upcoming album Fucked, which arrives on March 2nd through La Escalera Records at home and Gunner Records abroad. You can watch the video below.

It came from seemingly out of nowhere, but California punk act The Shell Corporation have announced a brand new album!

The twelve-song release is called Fucked., and it’s slated for release March 2nd through La Escalera Records at home and Gunner Records abroad. Check out the band’s promotional teaser video below and check out pre-order options here (U.S.) or here (Europe)!

The Shell Corporation to release cover of The Ruts’ “Babylon’s Burning” on flexi disk

California punk act The Shell Corporation have announced that they will release their Babylon’s Burning flexi on digitally on July 22nd through Encapsulated Records.

Originally written and recorded by The Ruts, The Shell Corporation recorded an amazing version of Babylon’s Burning. This flexi is a one time pressing of 250 copies on blue vinyl. All profits from record sales, digital downloads and streams will be donated to the North Shore Animal League America. More info can be found here.

Civil War Rust, Heartsounds & more to play This Is My Fest

The first round of bands playing the 2016 edition of Oakland, CA’s This Is My Fest has been announced. A few bands currently on the 4-day punk festival’s lineup include Civil War Rust, The Shell Corporation, Heartsounds, and Great Apes. Check out the full list below.

Featuring 40 bands in total, This Is My Fest will take place at 4 different local venues from September 15th-18th. More info and tickets are available on the festival’s official website.



This Is My Fest II announces line-up, offers free compilation download

This Is My Fest II is a a four day punk festival set to take place in Oakland/Berkeley from September 10th through 13th.  The festival will feature bands like Civil War Rust, The Shell Corporation, Tartar Control, Dan Potthast, Dog Party, Western Settings, and many more.

The organizers have also released a free compilation featuring most of the bands on the bill, including new songs from Civil War Rust and Swingset Showdown.  Check it out below.
