Melodic hardcore punks hailing from Canada, Counterparts have recently announced their third full length album “You’re Not You Anymore” which will be available on September 22, via Pure Noise Records.

Canadian post-hardcore band Counterparts have premiered a music video for their track “Stranger,” taken from the band’s latest album “Tragedy Will Find Us.” You can watch it below.

Counterparts sign to Pure Noise Records and New Damage Records

Canadian hardcore outfit Counterparts have announced that they have signed with both Pure Noise Records (in the US) and New Damage Records (in Canada). Counterparts vocalist Brendan Murphy had this to say about the signings:

“We’re happy to finally be able to announce that we’ve signed to Pure Noise/New Damage. In my opinion, these are two of the best current record labels in their respective territories. The decision to sign with P[ure] N[oise]/N[ew] D[amage] was an obvious one. Thank you to those who stuck by us, and anyone who actually cares about anything we do. It means more than you know.”

The band is currently supporting Defeater on a US tour, but once they get a chance, they plan to record and release their fourth studio album later this year with both of their new labels. Counterparts last released The Difference Between Hell and Home in 2013 through Victory Records.
