Crossover icons D.R.I. will spend most of this spring and summer touring around the world in support of their latest EP But Wait…There’s More!. The tour will kick off on March 25th in Puerto Rico and wrap up in Denver on September 9th; according to the band’s official website, more dates, as well as a fall tour, are to be announced.

Crossover icons D.R.I. have announced a six-month long U.S. tour that will kick off next week in Pennsylvania and wrap up in Florida in December. The dates and locations are below.

The tour comes in anticipation of D.R.I.’s upcoming EP But Wait…There’s More!, which is due for release this Friday (June 10th) through Beer City Records. The EP marks the band’s first set of new material since 1995’s Full Speed Ahead.

According to their website, D.R.I. will tour Australia in February of next year, and more U.S. dates will be announced.



D.R.I. announce new EP “But Wait…There’s More!”

Crossover icons D.R.I. have announced that they will release their much-anticipated new EP But Wait… There’s More! on June 11th through Beer City Records. It will include three brand new tracks, plus re-recordings of their classic tunes “Mad Man” and “Couch Slouch”, both taken from their 1985 album Dealing With It!.

Kurt Brecht talks about new D.R.I. EP

D.R.I. frontman Kurt Brecht was recently interviewed by Phoenix New Times, where he talked about the band’s long-awaited new EP, which be their first set of all-new material since 1995. Asked why the band hasn’t released any new material in more than two decades, Brecht responded:

“We’d taken a good amount of time off. And when we came back together, we had many offers to play, so we started doing that and have just been busy trying to make a living playing and touring. Bands like us make most of our money touring and selling merchandise at live shows.”

The Phoenix New Times article also reveals that D.R.I. have been finalizing the artwork and liner notes of their new EP, which the band hopes will be released soon. Brecht explains, “Just a handful of songs to test the waters. We haven’t put out anything new in so long, so we wanted to see how much interest there really is in it.”

Guttermouth announce U.S. tour with Blacklist Royals

California punk veterans Guttermouth have announced a two-month long U.S. tour, which will kick off this coming Thursday (October 22nd) in Pacifica and  on December 5th in Texas. Blacklist Royals will be opening for them on selected dates, and they will be opening for D.R.I. at one show. The dates and locations are below.

In a recent interview, D.R.I. frontman Kurt Brecht offered some details regarding the band’s anticipated new EP, which is due for release this year on Beer City Records and will be their first release with new drummer Brandon Karns, who replaced longtime member Rob Rampy last year. Brecht states:

“We just recorded a new EP that has three new songs and two re-recorded ones from years ago. We don’t have a name for it yet and still no release date planned, but it will be released on Beer City records. We also have a few other new songs, and we’ve been working in our new drummer, Brandon Karns, who joined us last summer.”
