The Damned to headline Camden Rocks Festival

The Camden Rocks Festival recently announced its first wave of bands, including UK reggae/punk band The Ruts DC, as well as British punk rock legends The Damned set to headline the event.  The festival still has 200+ bands to announce for the event taking place on June 3rd, 2017 accross 25 venues in Camden, UK, so be sure to check back to see who else will be joining the lineup.

British punk rock legends The Damned recently announced a big UK tour in celebration of their 40th anniversary.

The band has also just released dates and locations for a North American tour for 2017.

During the months of April and May The Damned will travel through a good portion of the US, with a couple stops in Ontario and Quebec.

The Damned announce 40th anniversary UK tour

British punk rock legends The Damned have announced a big UK tour in celebration of their 40th anniversary. The tour will see the band go from Leamington to Margate followed by a few dates in Spain to end the tour altogether. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here. The Damned announce 40th anniversary shows, begin crowdfunding new album

British punk icons The Damned have announced they will be playing one show in L.A. and two in New York this October in celebration of their 40th anniversary. Additionally, the band just launched a crowdfunding campaign for a new full-length album.

The Damned documentary receives limited theatrical release

A year after its first public screening at SXSW, the official documentary about The Damned – titled Don’t You Wish That We Were Dead – has received a limited theatrical release. It will screen in select theaters across Canada and the US, and at festivals in England and Argentina.

For those who want to see the documentary but don’t live near a participating theater, it will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on May 20th. You can check out a clip from the film below, too.



CJ Ramone and The Damned announce California shows

CJ Ramone and The Damned have just announced they will be playing a short run of shows in California early next month. All of the dates and locations can be found below.

The Damned released their latest album So, Who’s Paranoid? in 2008, and CJ Ramone put out a new record titled Last Chance To Dance in November of 2014 on Fat Wreck Chords.



Punk rock supergroup Dead Men Walking stream new song “Rock and Roll Kills”

New punk rock supergroup Dead Men Walking are streaming a new song off their upcoming debut album Easy Piracy called “Rock and Roll Kills.”  You can give the song a listen here.

Easy Piracy is set to be released on May 7th, and the band will be playing a few shows on the west coast surrounding that release.  You can check out those dates below.

In case you missed it, Dead Man Walking is comprised of Captain Sensible from The Damned, Slim Jim Phantom from the Stray Cats, Mike Peters from The Alarm, and Chris Cheney from The Living End. The Damned documentary trailer released

For the past four years, director/producer Wes Orshoski has been working on a documentary about the British punk rock group The Damned, and it will finally be seeing the light of day this year at the SXSW festival. Titled Don’t You Wish That We Were Dead, the documentary will feature interviews with all four of The Damned’s original members, as well as Chrissie Hynde (Pretenders), Mick Jones (The Clash), Steve Diggle (Buzzcocks), actor/comedian Fred Armisen, Nick Mason (Pink Floyd), Duff McKagan (Guns N Roses), Lemmy Kilmister (Motorhead), Keith Morris (Black Flag/Circle Jerks/OFF!), Dexter Holland (The Offspring) and more.

The Undercover Festival, which takes place in Surrey, England, over 3 days in September, has just finalized their list of headliners for the 2015 shows.  This year, you can catch Anti-Nowhere League, UK SubsThe Damned, and Penetration as headliners, plus a slew of other punk, ska, dub, and reggae bands.
