Toronto’s Flatliners recently announced a set of West Coast tour dates around the US and Canada. They will be accompanied by The Smith Street Band, up until It’s Not Dead Fest. They are also adding a few dates to the end of July, in Canada, supporting Sum 41.

Australian folk-punk outfit The Smith Street Band have a new music video out for their new song, “Birthdays.” Watch/listen below.

The song comes from the band’s new full-length album, More Scared Of You Than You Are Of Me. That’s due out April 7th on Pool House/Remote Control Records (Aus), SideOneDummy Records (North America), Specialist Subject Records (UK), and Uncle M (EU). It’s up for pre-order now right here.

The album, produced by Jeff Rosenstock, is the band’s first full-length since their 2014 release, Throw Me In The River.

The Smith Street Band announce North American tour with Hard Girls

The Smith Street Band have announced that they will be heading out on a North American tour this spring, and that they’ll be bringing Hard Girls along for the entire ride. Supporting acts on the tour include Diners, Worriers, Signals Midwest, and Lee Corey Oswald on select dates.

Australian punks The Smith Street Band have announced that they will be releasing a new 7-inch titled “I Scare Myself Sometimes”. The single will feature two songs recorded during the Throw Me in the River sessions but not included on the album. The band has also released a music video for the 7-inch’s title track. “I Scare Myself Sometimes” will be released in limited quantities on August 24, 2015 through Banquet Records. You can pre-order it here.



The Smith Street Band release live music video for “Surrender”

Australian folk punks The Smith Street Band just put out a new video in their ‘Live at the Corner Hotel’ series. You can watch “Surrender” below.

The video was recorded at, as you probably guessed, the Corner Hotel in Melbourne/Richmond, back in November. The track is off the band’s latest full-length, Throw Me In The River, which came out in October of last year on SideOneDummy (US), Uncle M Music (Europe), Poison City Records (Australia), and Banquet Records (UK).

The Smith Street Band have about 30 shows planned throughout Europe over the spring and summer, with a lot of festival dates on the list. Check out the dates/locations below the video.

The latest lineup announcement for Punk Rock Holiday 1.5 has been made! Joining the likes of Satanic Surfers, Less Than Jake, Guttermouth, and more are Teenage Bottlerocket, The Smith Street Band, The Exploited, Raised Fist, Jaya The Cat, and Venerea.

The 2015 edition of the Slovenian festival will be taking place on August 4-7th. Check out their website for more info.

Gnarwolves, announce U.K tour with The Smith Street Band and Drug Church

English pop-punk heroes Gnarwolves have announced some U.K tour dates they will be playing this April with The Smith Street Band and Drug Church. Dates and locations can be seen on the above flyer, or below in text form.

Gnarwolves released their self-titled album on September 23, 2014 through Pure Noise Records. The Smith Street Band released Throw Me In The River  October 28th through SideOneDummy (US), October 31st on Uncle M Music (Europe) and Poison City Records (Australia), and November 3rd via Banquet Records (UK).

The Smith Street Band release new song “Regular Sex”

Australia’s The Smith Street Band is sharing a new track titled “Regular Sex”. The song is the B-side of their single “Surrender”, which was a Fest exclusive, and is being streamed in anticipation of the physical release of their latest album, Throw Me In The River.

Throw Me In The River launched digitally in October, and just earlier this week we posted more from the band with their surprise 7″ called “Wipe That Shit Eating Grin Off Of Your Punchable Face”.

Check out “Regular Sex” along with a list of their upcoming US tour dates below. In addition, The Smith Street Band will be touring Australia with PUP over the next few months.



The Smith Street Band release surprise 7″

The Smith Street Band have just released a surprise 7″ single called “Wipe That Shit Eating Grin Off Of Your Punchable Face,” which is a political attack on the Australian government’s treatment of asylum seekers. The 7″, which features another new song, “God In The Name Of The Father” on the flipside, is available today on bandcamp and all digital sales will be donated to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. This 7″ will be released through Poison City Records and a large part of the physical sales will also be donated, including all of the proceeds from The Smith Street Band’s benefit show later this month.
