Uniforms calls it quits, releases final EP titled “Pink Couch”

Scottish melodic punk band Uniforms have decided to call it quits. The band released the following statement:

“Words are inadequate to express the depth of the gratitude we have for everyone who took a chance on and supported our silly punk rock band. UNIFORMS has been therapy for me, the soundtrack to our lives and a central focus of existence for the last three and a half years. For that I shall be forever grateful.”

The band also made their new (and last) EP, Pink Couch, available for streaming. The band had originally planned to release it in March 2015 through Make That A Take Records. You can check it out below.

Free Download: Uniforms – “In A Cage”

Scottish melodic punk band Uniforms has got a brand new joint available for free download. It’s called “In A Cage,” and you can get it here.

Uniforms’ last release was their split with Colorado’s Loaded .45, which came out on Make That A Take Records.



Make-That-A-Take Records releasing 4-way split, “Roaster”

Scotland-based punk collective Make-That-A-Take Records have announced a new four-way split, called “Roaster.” The artwork is to the left, and the four bands involved are Uniforms, Sink Alaska,  Question the Mark, and The Walking Targets.

The album will be limited to 300 copies on “reign in blood” colored vinyl, and will be released on November 29 at the Book Yer Ane Fest.

Make That A Take Records release “Book Yer Ane Fest VII” comp (Murderburgers, Antillectual, Uniforms, etc)

Make That A Take Records have just released part One of the “Book Yer Ane Fest VII” compilation featuring a bunch of pretty solid up and coming punk acts.  You can check it out by streaming it here and if you dig it you can download it for a £2 donation. All donations will go to Safe-Tay and the causes they support; this year being Tayside Mountain/Water Rescue.

Book Yer Ane Fest is a three-day DIY punk/hxc/emo/whatever festival hosted by Make-That-A-Take Records held annually in Dundee. It is a charity festival to raise money for Safe-Tay, a water safety charity, and the causes that it supports. Over the years they have raised in excess of £4000 for Safe-Tay and Tayside Mountain and Water Rescue.

Make That A Take Records stream Loaded .45 / Uniforms split

Make That A Take Records is streaming the upcoming split between Colorado-based punks Loaded .45 and Scottish melodic punk band Uniforms. The split is due out on May 31, 2013 according to Bandcamp.
