Australian metalcore act, Parkway Drive, have just released a music video for their brand new track, “Crushed”. The apocalyptic psychedelic video shows a series of characters coming to grips with madness, all the while serving as the playthings for two gods. Check it out below.

If anybody out there was left pretty impressed by Parkway Drive’s recent mid-air music video, well then here’s a little behind-the-scenes treat for you. The video shows the band explaining what went into the video, combined with production videos showing everything that went into making the video. As a part-time filmmaker, I’ve gotta say I find all this stuff pretty fascinating, especially seeing as how all of this was shot in the Australian desert.

This is the album for us. Every single step of the way, whenever there was gamble to take, we took the biggest one we could. If this isn’t the album that can go further than anything we thought was possible with this band and this type of music, that’s fine, but we can’t go back from this as far as we’re concerned.

Parkway Drive are currently working on a new album, which will be their first since 2012’s Atlas. There has been no word on a title or release date, but we’ll keep you posted as more details on the record come to light.

Set times have been announced for each date on the 2013 edition of the Australian Vans Warped Tour. Looks like The Offspring, Parkway Drive and Anarbor have the headlining spots on the three stages for each of the dates. More information can be found right here.
The Australian Vans Warped Tour kicks off Friday (November 29th) in Brisbane and runs through December 8th in Adelaide.

Australian metalcore act Parkway Drive will be releasing a book in honor of their 10 year anniversary. “Ten Years Of Parkway Drive” will contain a compilation of photographs and stories from the road.
The book is slated to hit stores September 27th.
After they go on tour with Pennywise or Descendents (or both), Sublime With Rome will be embarking on a short tour of Europe in November. Support acts, on selected dates, include Rise Against, Parkway Drive, Enter Shikari and Billy Talent. All the dates can be found here.
Sublime With Rome recently announced that they are expected to begin work on a new album towards the end of this year. They last released Yours Truly in July 2011 on Fueled By Ramen, which would be their only release with drummer Bud Gaugh, who left the band five months after its release.
