Midwest Ska Fest and Skappleton announce 2016 line ups.

Returning for its 4th year, Midwest Ska Fest is pairing up with Skappleton this year to bring Rude boys and girls, and other ska fans a full weekend of both local and national Ska bands.

Skappleton will be taking place on August 13, 2016 at Tanner’s Grill & Bar in Kimberly, WI. The Hub City Stompers and Dan Potthast (of MU330) will be headlining alongside Keep Flying (formerly Survay Says), Max and the Invaders, Run and Punch, The Bishops, 4 Aspirin Morning, Beat the Smart Kids, Be Like Max, The Holophonics, and Fairhaven.

Midwest Ska fest is being held at the Double Door in Chicago on August 14, 2016, and will be 18+. The Hub City Stompers and Dan Potthast (of MU330) will be headlining, with The Crombies, Keep Flying (formerly Survay Says), Something To Do, Run and Punch, Beat the Smart Kids, The 9 Spot, The Bishops, 4 Aspirin Morning, Evil Empire, and Bumsy and the Moochers.

Weekend passes for Skappleton and Midwest Ska Fest are currently available here. Single day tickets for Midwest Ska Fest will be available on Friday May 27, 2016.



New Music: Survay Says perform Stripped Down Session for Punks In Vegas

New Jersey ska/pop-punkers Survay Says! recently caught up with the kind folks at Punks In Vegas and performed a handful of songs for a Stripped Down Session. In the process, they performed their tracks “I Aim to Misbehave,” “Anger,” and “Turn The Page, Wash Your Hands.” Check out the videos below.

Each of the aforementioned tracks appears on Survay Says!’s latest album, “Observations Of The Human Condition,” which came out last April on Asbestos Records.



Firestarter announce “End of Summer 2015” U.S tour with Survay Says!

New York pop-punk band Firestarter have announced that they will be embarking on a generous tour of the U.S towards the end of the summer with New Jersey ska/pop-punk outfit Survay Says! The tour will start in August and is scheduled to come to it’s close in September. You can get the full list of dates and locations below.

Firestarter released an EP last May titled Forget the Past and have announced plans to release a brand new one called A Life Inconsistent on July 23rd. Survay Says! released their latest full-length Observations of the Human Condition last April.



Survay Says! announce Canadian co-headlining tour with Harbour

New Jersey ska/pop-punkers Survay Says! have announced a short co-headlining Canadian tour with Canadian pop-punk band Harbour, dubbed the “Punk You Up Tour.” Check out where they’ll be hitting up below.

Survay Says! released their latest full-length Observations of the Human Condition last April, while Harbour last released their EP Grade School Summer last November.



Goldfinger announce UK tour with Survay Says!

California ska-punk veterans Goldfinger have announced they will be touring the UK with New Jersey’s Survay Says! this May. You can check out the full tour itinerary below.

Goldfinger’s latest album Hello Destiny was released in 2008. Frontman John Feldmann announced the band was planning to release a new record back in 2012, but so far the only new material to surface was a single titled “Am I Deaf.”

The Ska Revival Tour is a thing and it looks like it’s gonna be pretty bad-ass! The tour’s lineup features Survay Says, The Last Slice, Kill Lincoln, Be Like Max, The A-OKs, and a bunch of other great ska-punk bands.
