Cigar working on new music

According to a recent post on their Instagram page, California skate punks Cigar are working on new music. It’s been 18 years since their one and only album Speed is Relative was released.

We’ll keep you posted as more details on new music from Cigar come to light. For now, here‘s their fantastic 1999 debut LP to tide you over.



Video: Cigar play “Movies and TV” like at Music 4 Cancer Festival

As astute readers are no doubt aware, 90s American skate punk band Cigar reunited for the first time in 8 years late last year at the Music 4 Cancer festival in Canada. Slowly but surely, good quality video of the performance has been trickling out.

Cigar’s only full-length album “Speed is Relative” was released in 1999 on Theologian Records. “Movies and TV” isn’t on it.

90s American skate punk band Cigar reunited for the first time in 8 years last month at the Music 4 Cancer festival in Canada. You can check out a video of them playing “Two Kevins” below.

The song is off their debut full-length album, “Speed is Relative,” which was released in 1999 on Theologian Records.

90′s American skate punk band Cigar may be reuniting sometime soon according to a mysterious post on their Facebook page:

Cigar hasn’t played together in over 6 years. That may be changing soon. Stay tuned!
