Dayton, Ohio screamo band The Devil Wears Prada have announced a new EP titled Space. The EP will be released on August 21, 2015 through Rise Records. You can get your first taste of the EP through its first single, “Supernova,” below.

The Devil Wears Prada announced second leg of “Zombie 5” tour

Dayton, Ohio metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada have announced a second leg of their “Zombie 5” tour, where the band will perform the Zombie EP in its entirety to celebrate its five-year anniversary. Check out the new dates below.

The tour will kick on on March 15th in Nashville, and last through mid-April. After a short break, the second leg will begin on April 27th in Greensboro, NC. Born of Orisis,  The Word Alive, and Secrets will support the band on the first leg, while Secrets and Sleepwave (ex-Underoath).

Warped Tour announces next round of bands

The fine folks at Warped Tour have added The Devil Wears Prada, The Color Morale, The Ready Set, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! and NiT GRiT to the 2014 lineup.

The 2014 edition of the Vans Warped Tour will lurch across America June 14 – August 3 and will include previously announced bands like Teenage BottlerocketMixtapesStray From The PathFor Today, and more. Go here for an up-to-date list of acts.



Second wave of bands announced for Groezrock 2014 (Madball, Cro-Mags, The Devil Wears Prada, Get Dead…)

One of the biggest and most anticipated music festivals East of the Atlantic has announced a second wave of bands.

Along with the already-announced bands, which you can see here, Groezrock 2014 will also feature hardcore legends Madball, Cro-Mags, and Judge.

Also hitting the stage in May will be The Devil Wears Prada, Paint It Black, The Wonder Years, and Bayside. Find a full list of the second-wave bands below.

The Devil Wears Prada frontman releases book “Home for Grave”

Mike Hranica, frontman for Ohio metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada, has released a book called “Home for Grave,” a fictional story that was apparently inspired by the song of the same title from his band’s new album “8:18.” Here’s a little background on the story, courtesy of Amazon, who you can buy the book from for $10:

The story behind the song, Home For Grave tells the tale of Ian Mitchells: a normal man from an ordinary town. Eager to complete his homework as a boy and caring as a young gentleman, Ian is the product of logic and responsibility. However, while his intentions are true and his actions are harmless, the line drawn between Ian’s birth and death is strewn with painful loss and perilous mediocrity: a combination often unnoticed within the somewhat neverending process of life and humanity. Through the stages of youth, love, and death, Mike Hranica lends poetic description to the tragedy of routine within the empty existence of the normal man.
