British post-punk act Wire are streaming a new song titled “Internal Exile.” The track will appear on the band’s upcoming mini-LP, Nocturnal Koreans, and you can listen to it below.

Nocturnal Koreans will be released on April 29, 2016. The band previously released Wire on April 21, 2015 through their own label, Pinkflag Records.



Wire announce ‘Nocturnal Koreans’ mini-LP, stream title track

British post-punk act Wire have announced a new mini-LP titled Nocturnal Koreans set to be released this spring. The band have also released a stream of the title track, of which guitarist Matthew Simms had this to say:

“It’s a great snapshot of touring America, and when I hear or play that song, it reminds me of the many weird and wonderful times, places and people that cross your path.”

“Wire” is Wire’s 14th album, and will be the most recent work since the band last released “Change Becomes Us” in March, 2013.

Wire announce self-titled album, stream new song

We’re a little late on this… but better late than never! British post-punk act Wire have announced that they will be releasing a brand new album (their thirteenth overall!) this year, simply titled Wire. The album will be out on April 21, 2015 released through the band’s own label, Pinkflag Records.

The band has also released a stream of a track from the album. You can listen to the Wire‘s first single, “Joust and Jostle” below.

The band’s last released Change Becomes Us on March 23, 2013.



Wire re-releasing live album ‘Document and Eyewitness’; stream “Revealing Trade Secrets”

British post-punk legends Wire have announced that they will be renastering their infamous live album Document and Eyewitness. The performance captured on this album is known for containing many (at the time) unreleased and unrehearsed tracks. You can read more about the album’s legacy here.

The band has also released a stream of a track from the album. You can listen to the remastered version of “Revealing Trade Secret” below.

The reissue of Document and Eyewitness will come out on August 18, 2014 through the band’d own Pinkflag Records. The band’s last album of studio recorded material was 2013’s Change Becomes Us, which, coincidentally enough, contains studio recording of nine of the unrehearsed and unreleased songs performed on Document and Eyewitness.

British post-punk legends Wire are streaming their new album, “Change Becomes Us,” in its entirety. Check it out here.

“Change Becomes Us” is comprised of songs that were written and performed live in 1979-1980, but never appeared in studio form until now. The album was released yesterday (March 26th) via their own Pinkflag Records.

Wire’s last album, “Red Barked Tree,” was released in January 2011, also on Pinkflag.



New Song: Wire – “Love Bends”

British punk legends Wire have premiered their new song “Love Bends”, which is available as a free download here. The song is taken from their upcoming album Change Becomes Us, which is due for release on March 26th on their own label Pinkflag Records, and will contain songs that were apparently written and recorded back in 1979-1980.

Wire’s last album, Red Barked Tree, was released in January 2011 on Pinkflag Records.
