Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive have announced a North American tour! They will be joined by Detroit metal act We Came As Romans and Canadian post-hardcore group Counterparts and you can check out the dates below.

Parkway Drive’s most recent album was “Ire” which came out in 2015 via Epitaph Records



Islander announce U.S. tour

South Carolina’s Islander have announced a U.S. tour in support of their upcoming album Power Under Control, which will be released on August 5th via Victory Records. The tour includes support by We Came as Romans, The Funeral Portrait and XXI, and appearances at the Taste of Madison, High Elevation and Texas Mutiny festivals.

We Came As Romans announce UK tour

Detroit post-hardcore outfit, We Came As Romans, have just announced a new set of tour dates that will see the band make their way across the United Kingdom throughout the month of December. The tour will consist of two headline shows, along with three where they’ll open for the Japanese trio One Ok Rock.

“The World We Used to Know” comes off of We Came As Romans, which is set to be released on July 24, 2015 through Equal Vision Records/Spinefarm Records.  Their last album, Tracing Back Roots, was released July 2013 through Equal Vision Records.

We Came As Romans announce self-titeld album, stream new song “The World We Used To Know”

Detroit-based post-hardcore group We Came As Romans have announced that their upcoming fourth full-length album will be self-titled, and will be released on July 24th through Equal Vision Records/Spinefarm Records. The album was produced by David Bendeth (ParamoreOf Mice and Men). Check out the artwork to the left, and the tracklisting below.

“Writing this record with David Bendeth was very intense,” says vocalist Dave Stephens. “If a song wasn’t great, it was rewritten until it was, and if it still wasn’t great, it was cut. We wrote close to 40 songs for this record and only ten made the album. Beyond becoming better writers and musicians, it made us stronger as a band and as a team.”

The band is also streaming the first single from the album titled “The World I Used To Know.” Listen to the new song here.

We Came As Romans post brief teaser for upcoming new album

Detroit-based sextet We Came As Romans may have just put out a new album last July, but that doesn’t mean that don’t have a new one in the bag and ready to go.

We’ve got very little information on this one so far, but the today the band did post a 15-second teaser video, announcing that they’ve got a new album due out soon. Check out the video below.

Seven more bands added to Warped Tour 2015 lineup (Attila, August Burns Red, Memphis May Fire and more)

We’ve reached the that time of the week where I get to make snarky comments about the newest additions to the Warped Tour lineup and you get to tell me how it’s not punk anymore or whatever!

Seven more bands have been added to the lineup for the 2015 edition of the Vans Warped Tour presented by Journeys: Attila, August Burns Red, Memphis May Fire, Drama Club, False Puppet, We Came As Romans and A+ Dropouts. That brings us up around 924 bands on this year’s roster, though my math may be a little off. Check out the full rundown below.

Tickets for Warped Tour 2015 went on sale last month (December 12th). Get yours online here. The 2015 Warped Tour kicks off June 17th in Anchorage, Alaska, and runs through August 8th in Auburn, Washington.

Chiodos and We Came As Romans announce co-headlining December tour

Detroit-based sextet We Came As Romans and post-hardcore band  Chiodos have announced plans to team up for a quick co-headlining tour. the jaunt kicks off December 10th in Pontiac, Michigan, and wraps up December 18th in Cleveland. Slaves and Sleepwave are coming along for the ride. Full details below, with ticket pre-orders available here.

Chiodos last released Devil this past April through Razor & Tie. We Came As Romans last released a live DVD entitled Present, Future and Past on September 2nd through Equal Vision Records.



Fearless Records announces ‘Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6’

Fearless Records has announced that they will be releasing the sixth volume of their Punk Goes Pop series on November 17, 2014. The compilation will feature the likes of August Burns Red, We Came As Romans, Set It Off, State Champs, Knuckle Puck and more performing renditions of popular radio hits from the past year or so.

Fearless Records put out Punk Goes Pop Vol. 5 on November 6, 2012 although they released Punk Goes 90’s Vol. 2 earlier this year.
