New Jersey’s The Front Bottoms have released a 45-second clip for a song titled “Noodle Monster.” The video was released as a part of a promotional contest for the IFC original series, Portlandia. The Grand Prize of the Noodle Monster Contest is a 10 year supply of ramen noodles, and hopefuls can enter by uploading a photo of themselves showing off how much they enjoy ramen noodles with the hashtag #NoodleMonsterContest to either Twitter or Instagram. The winner will be announced during the Portlandia season finale on March 24, 2016.

Brian Sella and touring trumpet player Ciaran O’Donnell of New Jersey’s The Front Bottoms recently performed an acoustic rendition of “Twelve Feet Deep” from their new EP Rose.

Rose was released July 17 on Bar/None Records. It’s the first in a series of EPs named after members of The Front Bottoms’ grandmothers. The band last released Talon of the Hawk in 2013 through Bar/None.

New Jersey’s The Front Bottoms are teaming up with another Garden State artist to record a split EP this fall. “The Souls?” you ask. Nope. “Gaslight?” you say. Negative. “GDP?” Wait…that’s who you’d pick third?!?
Anyway, yes, in an interview with San Francisco publication Do 415, frontman Brian Sella let slip that The Front Bottoms will be teaming up with Jersey rapper and marijuana aficionado GDP (from the duo Hash Money or #$ for you youngsters) for a split due this fall.
