Allison Weiss releases music video for “Back To Me” ahead of headlining tour

Pop-punk singer/songwriter Allison Weiss just put out a new music video for her song “Back To Me.” Check it out below.

The track comes from her album, New Love, which came out in October 2015 on SideOneDummy Records. About the song, Weiss says, “I love/hate that pop music makes you feel like everything is going to be okay… In my song, the narrator is ready to give up hope when suddenly a song comes on the radio that makes them believe again.”

The new video comes out just as Weiss hits the road for a string of shows with Josiah And The Bonnevilles and Thin Lips. You can see those dates/locations, along with the full tour poster, below the video.

In September, Philadelphia’s Thin Lips will be playing 4 shows with The Anniversary before hitting a few cities with Allison Weiss and Josiah & The Bonnevilles. The tour dates are below.

Punk singer/songwriter Allison Weiss has just released a new music video for her track “Who We Are”. The video plays out like a sports training montage, and shows a young girl training to play football with some other boys her age. Along with the video, she’s also announced a set of tour dates that will see her traveling the UK throughout the month of February. You can check out both the video and the dates below.

Allison Weiss drops off Front Porch Step tour following sexual harassment allegations against FPS frontman

Due to recent allegations surrounding Front Porch Step solo artist, Jake Mcelfresh, pop punk singer-songwriter Allison Weiss has decided that she will no longer be touring the UK in 2015 with FPS. On her decision, she commented:

Due to the recent allegations made against Jake McElfresh of Front Porch Step, I have decided I will not be touring with him this month in the UK. Whether the shows will happen without him or not is yet to be determined. I promise to post any updates…on Facebook as more information becomes available.

In case you’ve missed the hurricane of news around this situation, there have been recent allegations of sexual harassment of minors (some as young as 13 and 14 years old) brought against Mcelfresh which have resulted in a petition on Change.org to remove him from playing Warped Tour 2015.



Allison Weiss involved in van accident

Yesterday while traveling from Denver to Salt Lake City, Allison Weiss and her band were involved in a van accident.  After a large gust of wind hit their van, they were sent over a patch of ice and flipped at least 2 times.  Luckily everyone is OK with only minor injuries reported.  You can read a full statement from Allison below.

Allison has set up a PayPal Donations button to help out with hospital bills and to eventually get the band back out and touring again.  Additionally, No Sleep Records is putting 100% of the sales from Allison’s records on Bandcamp towards this fund for the next 72 hours.

English folk-punk troubadour Rob Lynch and Front Porch Step (the solo acoustic project featuring singer/song-writer Jake Mcelfresh) have announced a tour of the UK for January 2015 with support from pop punk singer-songwriter Allison Weiss.
