The Ataris stream new EP in its entirety, announce tour dates

Southern California pop punk veterans The Ataris are streaming their brand new EP October in This Railroad, which was released yesterday, in its entirety. You check that out below, along with the dates for their upcoming U.S. tour, which will feature some support from Unwritten Law and The Maxies.

The Ataris are reportedly still working on their long-awaited new album The Graveyard of the Atlantic, which will be their first since 2007’s Welcome the Night. It is not known when it will be released, but we’ll keep you posted as more details come to light.

The Maxies sign to Rock Ridge Music, announce new album

Greenland-by-way-of-SoCal pop-punk titans The Maxies have just signed with Rick Ridge Music, and have announced that their sophomore album “Nuuk Them All” will be released some time this year. “We’re very excited to have our new co-conspirators in Rock Ridge Music,” says Maximum Maxie of the signing. “We will surely spare them once our evil plans are in place.”

The band’s debut full-length Greenland Is Melting was released in 2011, and they’re in the middle of their nation wide tour with Reel Big Fish and Suburban Legends. Check out some of their upcoming dates shows below.

The Maxies launch IndieGoGo campaign to help fund upcoming Japanese tour w/ The Kingons

Greenland pop-punk titans The Maxies have launched an IndieGoGo campaign to help raise a little money to fund their upcoming Japanese tour with The Kingons.

Greenland pop-punks The Maxies and Japan’s Kingons are streaming their new split 10-inch in its entirety and you can check it out below!

The Maxies will be touring with Reel Big Fish on the second leg of “The Don’t Stop Skankin’ Tour” next January and Kingons are currently on tour with The Queers and The Copyrights.

Both bands will be making their way through Japan (with copies of this split in tow) next February! We’ll be sure to keep you posted as details surrounding that tour come to light.



Reel Big Fish announced 2nd leg of “The Don’t Stop Skankin’ Tour” w/ Suburban Legends, The Maxies & more

With the first leg of “The Don’t Stop Skankin’ Tour” wrapping up tonight at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, Ska legends Reel Big Fish have announced the second leg of the tour, which will also feature Suburban Legends, The Maxies, Mighty Mongo, and The Pietasters!

Details on when and where the tour will be stopping next January can be found below.
