DS Exclusive: “Battered & Bruised: The Best Of Phinius Gage” full album stream

London based melodic punk label Disconnect Disconnect Records have announced that they are to release “Battered & Bruised: The Best of Phinius Gage” on October 27th. The 19 song compilation is made up of 16 of the best songs from influential Brighton skate punks Phinius Gage, and three demo tracks. All have been remastered for the release. The band, who were active between 2001 and 2008, released 4 albums and played over 500 shows. They reformed for shows in 2015.

Disconnect, Disconnect Records announce plans to release “Battered and Bruised: The Best of Phinius Gage”

London based melodic punk label Disconnect, Disconnect Records have announced plants to release a 19-song compilation of tracks spanning the career of Brighton, UK’s influential skate punks Phinius Gage on OCtober 27th. The tracklisting spans the band’s whole career from 2001 until their initial break up in 2008, with all songs remastered.

Silent Majority release free vote aware compilation

Silent Majority Music, who aim to “campaign to educate on the importance of your vote through music, art, words of those already passionate and being up to date with current affairs and events”, have released a free, 25 song compilation via Bandcamp, including offerings from Straight Line, Popes of Chillitown, Phinius Gage, Darko and others.

Phinius Gage to continue following comeback tour

Brighton skatepunkers Phinius Gage have confirmed to their fans that they will be continuing the band despite rumours of their 2015 comeback tour only being a one-off. The band’s most recent Facebook post alludes to the possibility of future tours to come, with a note in their description that reads:

Yes – WE’RE BACK. After 8 years. We are still: Ade, Karlos, Matt, Mike.

We will be sure to keep you updated as details come to light.

Phinius Gage announce more 2015 tour dates

Last week, we told you that Brighton, England skate punk outfit Phinius Gage will be playing their first hometown show since splitting in 2008 on October 2nd.  The band has just announced that they will also be joining [spunge] and Whitmore on 4 dates leading up to the hometown show.  You can see the details below.

Phinius Gage are back (announce first show in 8 years)

Brighton, England skate punk outfit Phinius Gage split in 2008 shortly after the release of their 3rd album, “Seek Out Your Foes”. Eight years later, they are back and have just announced a hometown show to kick things off.  More shows will be announced soon but you can check out the info for the initial show in the flyer above.

Phinius Gage confirm 2014 reunion

When asked in a recent interview, Brighton, England skate punk outfit Phinius Gage, who split up in 2008, confirmed that they will be reuniting in 2014:

We hope so. We said to ourselves we’d do some shows next year. We haven’t all said it at once, but there seems to always be 1 or 2 of us wanting to and the others busy. But with the great response to our bandcamp, we thought – ‘fuck it, some people do still care’! It’s a great feeling. So Ade suggested a few shows – which I never thought I’d hear.
