New Song: Bearings – “Perfecting Morale” off upcoming split with Directions

Philadelphia pop-punkers Bearings have posted a new song, “Perfecting Morale,” off their upcoming with Directions.

The split LP is due out May 1st, 2011 on City Of Gold Records (UK) and Either/Or Records (USA) It will be a follow-up to their 2010 release “Exist. Expire” on Runner Up Records.

Bearings post a new track from upcoming split with Directions

Philadelphia pop-punkers Bearings have posted a track from their upcoming split with Directions, which is due out sometime this winter. The track, “False Reverie,” can be found on the band’s Myspace page.

Bearings last released Exist.Expire on Runner Up Records in 2010.

Bearings releasing split with Directions, Confirmed for upcoming Samiam tribute

According to a post from Runner Up Records, Bearings have finished recording a batch of songs from their upcoming split with Directions. The split is set to drop in January followed by a UK tour featuring both bands on the bill. Even more interestingly, they also let on that among the songs is a cover of “How Long” that is to be featured in a as-yet-to-be-announced tribute to Bay Area heroes, Samiam. We’ll keep you posted as details surface from both the split and the tribute.

The band’s split with Directions will serve as the follow up to their debut album, “Exist.Expire”.

Bearings on tour with their new LP “Exist. Expire”

Philadelphia’s progressive punk band Bearings is headed out on their first ever US Tour. On top of that, they’re bringing their new album Exist. Expire along with them. There isn’t a set release date for the record yet, but it’s coming soon on Runner Up Records. As of now you’ll just have to get a copy at one of the shows. To tide you over hit up their MySpace and listen to Summer Solstice, one of the seven tracks off the upcoming release.

Bearings releasing new album “Exist. Expire”, streaming new track

Philadelphia progressive punk act Bearings are streaming a brand new song on their MySpace page.  It’s titled Summer Solstice and it will appear on the band’s upcoming Exist. Expire.  No official release date yet but fans can expect it out soon.

Bearings/Pswingset releasing split 7″

bearingsPhiladelphia’s Bearings are doing a split 7″ with Akron, Ohio’s Pswingset.  The release will be available in January via Missing Words Records and you can sample Bearings’ song Tenement on their MySpace page.
